About the Workshop
What is the overall state of telecom competition?
Should regulatory policy be affected by Wall Street's loss of confidence
in the telecom and Internet sector? Will "forced access" or "open access"
to cable lines be required? Will universal service and E-Rate programs be
increased or decreased? Is there a "Digital Divide" and who is responsible
for closing it? Will Congress or the FCC change communications merger policy?
What about anti-trust enforcement? Will broadcast and cable ownership
restrictions be relaxed? What are government agencies doing to promote
broadband access and infrastructure? Please join us for a discussion on key
issues in telecom, Internet and IT law and policy today.
