Sponsored by the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information.
Summary Program
As geographic
markets, networks, and products are redefined, there is a subsequent blurring
of jurisdiction and media categories. Traditionally, international forms
of telecommunication services were always collaborations of territorial
or service monopolies. Today, telecommunications organizations an d their
services cross borders. New forms of competition and collaboration are
being established and new markets are being addressed.
