Michael Botein
is founding Director of the Communications Media Center at New York University
Law School and former co-Director of CTIS at Columbia. His expertise lies
in international telecommunications law, the regulation of cable television
and new technologies. He has been consultant to the FCC and the Administrative
Conference of the United States. He has been Visiting Professor of the
Faculte de Droit, University of Melbourne Law School, and at Hebrew University
School of Law. He is widely published in the field and co-author of International
Telecommunications in the United States (1987) and Cases and Materials
on Regulation of the Electronic Mass Media (forthcoming).
