About the Workshop

Hugo Dixon, who recently published the book, Finance Just in Time, sets a framework for discussion of understanding media/telecommunications finance.

The workshop will also feature Adam Quinton, a Managing Director and First Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Quinton is the Co-Head of Global Telecom Services Research and covers the large cap multi business (LD/wireline/wireless) US Telecom companies such as AT&T, SBC, Verizon and WorldCom as well as large IP infrastructure companies such as Quest, Global Crossing, Level 3, and Williams.

Hugo Dixon is one of the best-known business journalists in Britain. Currently editor and chairman of Breakingviews, Europe’s first online financial comment service, Mr. Dixon is best known for heading the influential Lex column at the Financial Times from 1994 to 1999.

Mr. Dixon was honored in Britain as Business Journalist of the Year in 2000 for his ability to present big, complex business stories. He graduated from Oxford University in 1985.
